Started baking more and hand-held mixer died so we got this one. It works great except for one little thing we discovered the first couple times we used it. There is a small “hill” in the center of the bowl which means there is a surrounding valley where the beater does not reach. The cake mix will accumulate in that valley and not get mixed in with the rest of it. Then when scooping the batter into the baking pan, will come out as dry cake mix. We found that by adding all ingredients and stirring with a spatula to mix everything then starting the mixer to run it does a better job.

I would LOVE to have one of the more expensive aluminum brands that are out there and have all of the super useful (albeit expensive) attachments – but I’m on a tight budget and this mixer suited my needs.I don’t use the shield very much – even when I probably should. The dough hook works great. My only real complaint is cleaning. There are lots of nooks and crannies for flour and other ingredients to get into. Not a huge gripe and probably made worse by the fact that I don’t use the shield.

This product is amazing! It is better than I expected due to the other reviews. It is big enough and it reaches the bottom of the bowl just like kitchen maid. It is not to loud but is a bit loud as you turn it up to a higher speed, I recommend buying this instead of a 100-200$ electric mixer, it works just the same. Very good for making frosting and homemade cake! I hope to have this last for a long time.

While I love this mixer it works greats for me there were a few things I wish it had included Most of the recipes I come across require low speed, or on high speed but this mixer doesnt have low and high it simply says mix, whip, knead etc so which setting would I use when it says low or high speed? I also do not like that the cord is short as I have limited access to plugs in my kitchen and had to find and extention cord to use it where I needed to use it. These are the only reasons for the 4 instead of 5 stars. It works great, I made a cake and dumplings in it so far and am looking forward to using it much more excellent product

Easy to carry from the garage (where I store it because of limited counter space) to kitchen, yet powerful enough to mix gluten-free bread dough. Right size for one or two loaves.
