Almost 2 years since purchase!!Never thought it would last this long it was so inexpensive. I make smoothies 4-5 times a week.Yes it’s noisy, but it’s sturdy and inexpensive.Would purchase again ?

I had a similar blender by a well known manufacturer – it recently died, and I replaced it with this one. For a blender in the same price class, this Hamilton Beach model is vastly superior. I had to wear noise dampening headphones when I used the other one, and blending a mixture that contained frozen items literally took minutes. This one does the same work in about 45 seconds land does it better. I think the reason is that this one has a nice wide bottom and then other manufacturer’s model had a very slim bottom, hence the frozen stuff more readily gets to the blades on the bottom. I would say at this price point, this blender is the only choice and is a bargain!

I’ve only had this blender a few weeks so I can’t speak to its durability, but what a wonderful machine! I especially love the large, heavy, glass container which cleans much more easily than a plastic one, with no fear of scratches. Granted, IDK what might happen were I to drop it. It is very heavy….but so thick that it just might survive without problem. I use it to make post workout smoothies and it crushes ice like a champ. Just a few pulses and then I put it on the “Smoothie” setting for a half minute or so and the ice is fully processed and incorporated into the drink. I found by accident that in order to use the spout feature you must really press down hard on the lid to seal it. Otherwise you can just remove the lid and use the container’s built in pour lip.

I like the feel of this. I bought it hoping that it lasts longer than other brands I’ve bought in the past. zi tested it for ice crushing and it was good. I haven’t used it yet for shakers or blending cans of tomatoes, but feel like it will do the job.

I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN I RECEIVED THE ITEM. IT’S JUST LIKE MY OLD ONE, THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF AND IT’S SO MUCH MORE STURDY, EFFECIENT AND IT PRODUCES THE BEST SMOOTHIES.

Crushes frozen strawberries ?.That is a BIG deal! I use it to make our yogurt, cottage cheese, fruit, and granola breakfast. It works perfectly. I highly recommend this blender
