I bought this cooker for family get-togethers and poker parties, using it most recently for a taco bar with beans, beef, and chicken. It worked OK, but has some design flaws. First, it has no pilot light to indicate it is on, you have to feel for heat. The best option would be for each burner to have its own light. The second issue is the plastic lid handles which prevent use in the oven. It would be very convenient to be able to cook food in the oven directly in these crocks and then transfer them to the warmer. Thirdly, and least importantly, it has no cord winder/storage. This cooker works well enough, but these design changes would be BIG improvements.

I really like that the dishes are removable and come with lids. I had an event with tacos and they kept the ground turkey and adobo chicken warm the whole event. After the event was done, I popped the dishes in the fridge and served the meat with another meal the next day – put the dishes in the dishwasher and done!

It’s absolutely not 1.5 quarts. It’s small. 1 quart. It also did not come with the lid holders and the only way Amazon will help is by returning the entire product and purchasing a new one… pretty annoying.

Purchased this as an apple cider/hot cocoa bar for a bridal shower and justified the cost thinking I’d use it for food during the holidays. Worked beautifully for its original purpose but I struggle to think what foods I could actually hold in it as the pots are incredibly small.
