I wanted to test the claims of being non-stick, so I took a huge chance and piped my Lemon Ricotta donut batter into this pan, ungreased. As soon as I put the pan in the oven I thought, OMG did I just do???? I crossed my fingers and waited the 12 loooong minutes while the donuts baked. As soon as the timer buzzed, I yanked the donuts from the oven, said a prayer to the baking gods, and inverted the pan over a cooling rack. A couple of gentle shakes and bam…intact donuts lying peacefully on the rack, just begging to be glazed. Success!!! I did wind up lightly greasing the pan for the remaining donuts, but only to get a bit crispier result on the bottom of the donut. Yes, the donuts are a bit smaller than standard size, but that didn’t bother me. Who needs the extra calories?

I had looked last year for a doughnut pan and couldn’t find one anywhere. So when I found a recipe online that I wanted to try I finally found several pans. I chose this one for the finish on it. It was easy to use, using a decorating bag with the corner cut off of it to put the batter into the pan was perfect for filling it.I order two for my sister and niece so they could try the recipe I had and they loved them also.

This donut pan worked just fine. Used a spray coating on it and the donuts came out fine. The donuts ended up being a lot smaller than it seemed like they would looking at the pan before using it. Took a few batches to learn how much batter to put into the forms. Found that if the batter is about 1/8 to 3/16″ below the center of the form it should work for you. If you fill it up to the top of the center form, you’ll get a donut with no hole coming through from the bottom. In this case turn the cooled donut over and fill it with jelly for a nice jelly donut. If you need a larger donut, like the ones you get from Dunkin Donuts this isn’t the right size for you.

What a great space saver! We have it on our fridge holding vinegar, olive oil and a couple of spice jars, but it could hold a lot more weight than that. It is very attractive and I love having the stuff up off of the counter. I am actually considering buying a second one for our garage fridge for the dogs walking equipment!

This is a nice sturdy pan, but it makes MINI bagels and donuts. Not even close to full sized unless you are a toddler. Other than that, I do use the. pan, but have to eat two bagel at a time.

Love this little pan. It isn’t flimsy at all, makes the perfect size mini donuts. Worth buying.
