I wanted an induction cooktop separate from my regular cooktop, which is flat electric, to allow more all day or tabletop keep warm options; or when the main cooktop is full of big pots amd no more room.I am Luke warm in this induction unit.It is LOUD. All the time. The fans keep it cool but there is no slow and fast setting so it is always sounding like a hovercraft engine. Very annoying. I wouldn’t use this for buffet style parties due to this.It heats a big cast iron pot well but did burn on the bottom even tho used lower heat. The on/off cycling is probably to blame. The glass top is nice but gets dirty easily. I very much worry bout scratches with heavy cast iron or enameled cast iron (Staub) or LeCrueset. It was on sale so I may keep it for occasional holiday use or soups but not as impressed as thought would be.It’s about 3 in high and lightweight plastic body so easy to store and get out as needed. One thing is nice is the keypad to control it is at an angle so the pot doesn’t cover it up, like some others. You don’t want to be touching a pad next to a hot pot and burn your finger.Watts and Power Levels is nice to have.

I did not want to commit to a whole induction cook top so I bought this single model to see how I like it. It works fantastic. I can’t believe how fast I can make dinner. I keep it by the radiant glass cook top stove, so when I am done with my first item, I then move it over to the cook stove to stay warm while I quickly make the second item on the menu. I already owned some pots and pans that had magnetic bottoms so all That it cost to get started was the price of this induction cooker. Also I really appreciate that cooking with this induction stove doesn’t get me heated or add more heat to the room. It’s very easy to use. I used the power settings. A little power goes a long way. The second lowest power setting is good for sautéing and bring a thick sauce to a boil and the next highest one is good for stir fry. No reason to use the highest setting except to quickly bring water to a boil. People worry about the safety of the magnetic energy, so I keep it a foot away from me. I know naturalist doctors say walking on the dirt barefoot is good for your health because you are absorbing the Earths magnetic energy so I am not sure what is the difference. We plan on taking this induction plate with us camping.

Works quickly & efficiently as advertised. Because I did not want to replace all of my existing pots & pans, I first tried using dollar store cheap but magnetic cake pans & pizza pans as conductors underneath them, which only worked for a few minutes before the magnetic heat connection failed. Hard lesson learned – they left the top glass surface of this cooktop marred, but still working. So far it’s been hard to find new inexpensive induction cookware sets, next I’ll be trying a small set just bought from Ikea.

My first induction cooktop for home; I have used them in B&B vacation spots but I don’t recall others with this much fan noise. It seems to work well otherwise.

Works great, heats FAST can only use induction specific cookware. Even came was a magnet to identify useable cookware.

I don’t usually post but I am really impressed with this cooktop! I am working out of town and it’s really challenging eating healthy living in a hotel… I am able to prepare meals and it’s safe to use in my hotel room (do not leave unattended of course)It’s heats up fast and it also has a timer so my boiled eggs come out perfect!! No regrets!!! You will not be disappointed!

Dials in quick and temperature is accurate.Just make sure you have a liquid in your pan before you start it up because you don’t want to ruin your pans.
