The media could not be loaded. Β During lockdown, one of the things that I was experimenting with were custards (egg + cream/liquid), but ice cream was one custard I did not get to make. This is a simple, but useful gadget and for making small batches of ice cream. The build quality it okay. It’s light duty. Looks nice. Doesn’t feel like a toy.Unless there is a compressor in the ice cream machine, most ice cream machines of this kind only make one batch and then the canister needs to be frozen overnight again. Its compact size makes it easy to store in a cabinet. For my first batch of ice cream, I decided to use vanilla bean and vanilla extract to make double-vanilla ice cream. Following the general ratio of ingredients in the recipe book I was able to make a custard and it did turn into ice cream. My main criticism is probably the recipe book and some of the warning labels. The recipe book is okay, but the recipes only yield about 2 cups of ice cream, sorbet or frozen yogurt. The freezer bowl probably could take another cup. One crucial step I noticed is the lack of a threshold temperature for putting the mixture into the machine. Many of the videos I watched before making the ice cream explained how the mixture should be below 40ΛF (for food safety reasons and to yield a more creamy ice cream). There is a clear typo on the warning label (reads “sprout” instead of “spout”). And it does appear as if its message was poorly translated.Overall it is a fun gadget to have. We will make frozen yogurt next.

The media could not be loaded. Β I’ve made three batches of vegan ice cream and they all came out great. I’m happy I got to try this machine. It works really well and makes Ice Cream in 20 to 30 minutesIt does make some noise while it’s running but nothing unbearable. The instructions are easy. Just add the ingredients at the appropriate time and let it do its job. I approve of this product.

In my household, our most consumed sweet treat is ice cream. Itβs a regular part of our diet and itβs a regular item on each weekβs shopping list. As much as we love ice cream, it makes sense that we would eventually try making our own. We have used some ice cream makers that were lacking in quality design and performance, but one we have tried and like is this sorbet, frozen yogurt, and ice cream maker from Intasting.Straight from the box, you will notice that this is a simple device with only a few parts. The first thing you will want to do is wash the main container, then immediately place it in the freezer. It has to freeze for at least 12 hours before you can make your first batch of frozen treats. And if youβre unsure what you will want to make and need some guidance, you need not worry because it comes with a book that contains several recipes. Our first batch of ice cream was made using the recipe for strawberry ice cream, in the booklet. The result was good, although it was more like sorbet than actual ice cream. Still, it was very fresh and natural tasting, the way homemade ice cream should be. I should note, however, that the included recipes create a very small batch. I recommend doubling the ingredients so that you get a large enough batch to serve two or three people. As for the operation, itβs quite functional and trouble free. You mix your ingredients on the side, using a mixing bowl, blender, etc, then pour through the opening. The machine is quiet in operation and it doesnβt require constant checking. You set the timer, let the paddle spin, and remove it once the cycle is finished. Then, place the container in the freezer and consume later. Or, if you feel itβs cold enough, you can eat right away.My family loves ice cream. This ice cream maker by Intasting is a good one for our needs and we have had positive experiences so far. Itβs not as large as I would prefer and it does take time to clean. But this is a good way to make homemade ice cream and itβs perfect for those who love frozen yogurt, sorbet, or ice cream and want something more creative than what you get at the grocery store.

This is one of the easiest ice cream makers I have ever used. All you have to do is place the bowl in the refrigerator for 12 hours or more at so it freezes and later that day or the next day, you can make a delicious ice cream and it takes just 20 minutes or so. You get about 3-4 servings of ice cream out of the machine if you double the recipe in the booklet. The texture is smooth and you can freeze the ice cream for two additional hours if you prefer thicker ice cream. The bowl is easy to clean but running warm water inside and wiping it out with a dish towel and soap. The machine is quite not producing much noise when in use. I recommend adding extra ingredients at the end once you have made the ice cream and sort of mix everything in. The machine is mostly made of a hard plastic and the paddle mixer is plastic as well, I question how long the paddle will last before it has to be replaced. My boys love ice cream so this will get plenty of use.

Tried twice to make ice cream. Nothing happened except disappointment from my kids.

The ice cream maker is fun and easy to use. Everything comes apart easily so you can clean it and it pops back together quickly. The inner tub takes up a bit of space in the freezer but being able to make your own ice cream and frozen yogurt is worth it.
