This thing has been a pretty big letdown for me so far. When storing wine you need a number of things for good conditions, one of the most important of which is a stable temperature. I’ve had my fridge for 2 months now and have come to terms with the fact that this product does not provide that. I keep the top zone at 58 degrees and everytime I look at it, it’s registering a different temperature. It would be less frustrating if the fluctuation was 3 degrees or less and only happened once or twice a day as that’s an acceptable temperature fluctuation for wine storage, but this thing will hit 52 on occasion and is often at 53 or 54. It it will bounce between the lows and 58 numerous times a day which has me pretty concerned about keeping my nicer bottles in it.Another important part of wine storage is low vibration, which this fridge does not provide. When the compressor kicks on my fridge starts shaking to the point you can hear bottles tapping against one another, it’s also accompanied by a high pitch frequency which I can hear constantly and fear may drive me insane.Craftsmanship is also somewhat lacking. One of the racks in my fridge was not bent properly leaving a bottle tilted upward. While this is more of a cosmetic issue than anything, it’s still pretty annoying considering the price point for a relatively small wine fridge. The only great thing I can say about it is that it has a sharp look in my home. It also has done an okay job of preventing moisture buildup, but not an exceptional job as after 2 months I’ve already noticed a few bottles with label issues due to accumulation. All and all, I would not recommend buying this product if you’re looking to store wine for any length of time. The only use I could see for this is if you go through wine quickly and are just looking for something to keep your wine at a reasonable temperature for drinking… I desperately wish I could return mine and get something more stable, quieter and with less vibration. π

EDIT: Quickly replaced my defective unit and this one is working now. I would give a slightly higher rating for good customer service. As far as function, I have a few minor gripes but its does hold temperature (I have been using it for Reds so it doesn’t need to go below 55) and it does have the tinted glass (which seems to be very rare for the price). The racks do need some dampening because the steel rattles a bit. I threw a rag down and it made me feel better (wood would definitely be better). The machine does run a lot (making a bit of noise) and fluctuates by 2-3 degrees every day. The sides get hot so it does actually need side and back clearance as stated in the instructions. If I paid more money, I would want those issues resolved but since it was relatively cheap I am satisfied with its performance.OLD: I received the product on Friday and it worked perfectly. I moved all my wine from the basement and was very happy to leave everything working as intended. Today (Sunday) I woke up and nothing was working. No lights, no cooling, nothing. I assume there is some sort of fuse that got switched off but I have no idea how to reset it. I tried unplugging it for a minute, switching outlets, everything short of taking it apart. No dice. And of course customer service is closed on Sunday. Very frustrated.

Edited β while I was initially impressed, this refrigerator has developed a bunch of pops and thunks that have become irritating. They were infrequent originally, but the frig makes some kind of noise every few minutes now. I guess Iβll find out how good the warranty really is. Also, the temperature display is very bright, and there doesnβt appear to be a way to tone it down short of taping something over it. That, in and of itself, isnβt a big problem. When added to the recurring noise, it is bothersome. The Ivation wine frig arrived on schedule and in good condition. Temperature control is good, staying within a degree or two of the targeted level. The compressor is almost noiseless. There is a small βthunkβ sometimes when the compressor stops its cycle, but that canβt be heard more than a few feet away. It is considerably quieter than our GE Profile refrigerator/freezer. The wire shelves are OK. Iβve run into a few large bottles that donβt fit well, but the vast majority do just fine.

I had to replace the first cooler I received because one of the zones did not work. So far, the second one seems to be working perfectly.

Very attractive, works well, no noise.

Easy to adjust temperatures once plugged in and its rady to go.

I like the way the unit looks, and it seems to work well at keeping the two sections at different consistent temperatures. However, I was disappointed to find that the spaces for the bottles are quite narrow. Sparkling wine and other wider bottles do not fit.
