I wasn’t quite ready to spend the money for a stand alone kegerator. The hand pumps are inconvenient and allowed the beer to go stale. I used this pump on sixth kegs in a dump bin style refrigerator. One month we were away traveling and came back to find the beer quite fresh. I had to build a holder with two pieces of wood to hold the spicket because I didn’t want to cut a hole in my fridge.The quick connect is awesome. I don’t even have to turn off the CO2 to change the keg.
