Perfect size for 2 or 3 people. I always wanted a rice cooker but didnβt want a huge appliance taking up cabinet space. This little cooker is perfect for making small batches. It holds a maximum of 1-1/2 cups dry rice (before cooking). It comes with a measuring cup and a mini serving spatula. My only negative was that the lines for adding the water were super hard to see because they were marked on the inside of a black container. I had to shine a flashlight inside the bowl to see! Otherwise, itβs a great little product and the rice cooked nicely. It also has a warming feature to keep the rice warm after being cooked. I recommend!

This sleek little rice cooker is perfect for 2, maybe 3 servings. I will use it most for cooking steel-cut oats in the morning as it does have a keep-warm feature making it perfect for varied morning routines. That’s how I broke it in and it worked perfectly. My other rice cookers had attached lids. (Still have a larger one.) I don’t mind that this one is fully detachable, should actually be easier to clean, but the plastic clasps are a bit more fragile than I’d like for the long haul. It does have an extra heavy duty detachable cord and a sturdy switch.

The lid is won’t shut tied, as I remember I bought 1 last time and same style it was last only 2 month, so I may return.

We love rice here, like LOVE rice here. We eat it all the time, and we go through rice makers at the rate of about one every 2 or 3 years. We’ve had a variety of brands over the years, and most of them are pretty similar. This is a small or personal sized rice maker. You can easily make enough for two people without worrying about storing extra in the fridge.I made Jasmine rice with it as a test, at my normal ratio of 1 cup rice to 1 and 1/2 cup water, and it turned out perfectly, fluffy and nice, without sticking to the bottom or sides. The scoop that came with didn’t stick to the rice either, which was nice.It has lights to let you know if it’s cooking or warm, and the latch is easy to pop down. Some latches like to pop up on their own, and this one didn’t have that issue. The cord detaches and can be stored inside along with the spoon and measuring cup, and that tells me I can bring it all over with me!The lid latches on top and is removed entirely when you open the rice maker, and there’s a vent, which you absolutely need with a rice maker.Don’t overfill this! Experience tells me that overfilling a rice maker will make glue that comes out the top vent. You don’t want glue. All in all, this is the perfect size for two people, and I intend to bring it to work and when we travel so I can have fresh rice there. It’s small enough that moving it around and traveling with it isn’t an issue, which I love.

First off, this has to be one of the cutest appliances Iβve seen. Itβs mini size makes it perfect for apartment dwellers, the office or even to take in the RV or to camp. Itβs only 200 watts so it could easily work off a power backup rated for 200 watts or above. Like regular sized rice cookers, the controls are simple. Itβs just one buttonβpress it down to cook and it flips up to the warm setting when itβs done. There is no on/off button and you will have to unplug the cord to stop the cooking process entirely. You will never make rice any easier than this. No guessing on the amount of rice or water or the time it should cook. Just use the measurements on the included measuring cup for the rice and the lines inside the pan to let you know how much water to add, flip the switch and walk away. It took twenty minutes to make one cup of basmati rice which would feed a couple people. The rice didnβt come out mushy or sitcky and didnβt stick to the pan at all. I did let it sit on warm for about five minutes after it was done. You can also warm up foods in this. I warmed up a stew I made from leftover Thanksgiving turkey and had it over the rice. Yummy! It is low wattage so it takes a bit longer than a hot pot or other higher rated small appliances, but it is convenient. The only issues I had with it is itβs difficult getting the insert out of the appliance. Iβve tried tongs and those mini pot holders for your fingers, but they just canβt seem to lift it up easily. It needs a handle. Also, the measurements inside the insert are very hard to see. I had to compare the interior with the exterior engraving to figure out where my waterline should be. If this could be remedied, it would be perfect.

Wow! I truly love this mini rice cooker! I like that it is small and does not take up a lot of space. It can be used as a travel unit or even for a dorm. This rice cooker only took about 20 min to make good fluffy rice. It kept the rice warm without over cooking it. The inside pot can be used as a serving dish. One button is all you need! I love it! Easy to use and versatile! I recommend it!

The rice cooker is noticeably smaller. Smaller than I expected. As a result, the size is ideal for two people. If 1/4 cup serving is expected, it will be enough for three people. So 1 cup of uncooked Jasmine rice will come right at the edge on the top, which means that 1 cup of uncooked rice is what it can cook for any rice. The rice cooker does its job well, and I liked it because I needed a smaller, two-person rice cooker. It is more compact and can fit anywhere on the kitchen counter. There is no need to be concerned about the wire’s length.
