I introduced my mom to the electric pressure cooker and I created a monster. Of course she wants to make everything in it, first test was crucial; beans.The machine said 40 minutes on High temp. She flipped because her old used to cook them in 14. So we put them in Soup mode because of the water amount and added 15 minutes.The water was consumed and the beans were half cooked. She wasn’t happy. So I added more water and added 15 minutes on Porridge mode and problem solved. It has enough options to cook, super convenient.Next test is beef soup. We need to test the beans as recommended.The machine looks nice, study not noisy when cooking. I bought it during prime so the cost was nice too! Fist time buying Master Chef brand.I will update later, my mom for sure will tell what’s wrong with it.

I would give 5 stars across the board but there was really not enough info booklets to come with the cooker. I look up recipes for the instant pot 6qt and play from there. Aside from that I can’t think of anything negative really. So far I have made beans, gumbo & chicken tinga tacos. It makes perfect rice everytime. Don’t even get me started on the stock and bone broths!Happy cooking, y’all!
