Β I purchased this wok because it is advertised as durable and non-stick, and to replace my old non-stick that my spouse has abused.I was impressed with the packaging of this wok, during unpacking.I cleaned this wok in warm water with dish soap and let it sit for 5 hours before cooking.1st Test – I fried an egg without any oil and or non-stick spray. In pictures 1 – 3, it can be seen the egg stuck to the surface and burnt. Had to used a spatula to scrape the bottom of the egg.The burn particle of the egg easily washed off, but still left some small burn marks that cannot be seen in picture number 52nd Test – I used a nonstick spray and fried another egg, initially it stuck and needed a nudging with a spatula for the egg to slide freely (see video).In the video, the first egg is fried without oil or spray, the second egg fried is with non-stick spray and time-lapsed. The sound was lost during editing.I am contemplating returning this WOK.- Update -There was no instructions provided with this item except for the assembly of the lid handle.But watching similar brand HEXCEL pan’s reviews, on youtube, they require using oil to fry eggs on their product.I have since melted shredded cheese without oil and scooped it up with slice bread, without sticking.I will post updates as this products is used with preparing various dishes.Update- October 2021It has been over ten months since I have owned wok and has held up marvelously, my wife has done all types of cooking in it and still going strong! I have updated to five (5) stars.

It is made of safety material that why I choose it.It gets hot quickly. However, it is not really non-stick like other non-stick woks.I used oil and water to make fried dumplings, it got burned with some, some good, and some sticked.It is good if just for cooking vegetables and normal meats.

Me encanta lo versΓ‘til de este sartΓ©n ideal para cocinar muchas recetas, colocar en el horno etc. Lo ΓΊnico que no me gusta es que no enrosca bien la tapa y se afloja con mucha facilidad por lo que hay que estar apretando cada rato y lo siento molesto. Deben mejorar ese sistema de ensamble.

Very hard to find a wok that can handle metal utensil and be non stick. Saw hexclad at Costco but that cost a fortune. So decided to try this, it works, not completely non stick. I say 10% of food still sticks, wouldnβt use it to make eggs unless u want scrambled.
