This is a little jewel of a chopper/mincer. I own 3 of the name brands starting with one C & two KA. This little thing works much better. I believe itβs due to the 4 blade system which draws the food up and down. The others have only 2 blades. It may be small, but itβs mighty! And with 2 speeds! The 2 1/2 cup container is glass which is unheard of these days. Today I cut an unpeeled apple into cubes, added a little water, briefly processed at intervals and made applesauce. I just wish it had a larger container, but I do believe this one is a winner!

I was hesitant to get this one mainly because the limited review available and since itβs 5 stars I was also skeptical. But I decided to go with this one primarily because one of the reviewer said itβs made out of glass instead of plastic.I wanted a cordless/rechargeable version and this one is not. I decided to buy it anyway and so glad I did!The cord didnβt bother me, in fact it makes me glad that with the electric cord thereβs a blending power that comes with it.Item was well packaged and the glass seems to be high quality, thick and sturdy. Didnβt make me worry Iβll break it easily.Thereβs 2 different power setting and I used both depending on the need. Primarily use this for chopping garlic and/or onions and/or chillies, or sometimes I make a paste that the bigger food processor that we have could not blend well as the ingredients are not enough.Really love this product and so glad I got this one. Made chopping garlic and shallots so much easier, even when I only have 5 cloves of garlic!

Chopping onions, garlic, ginger, the usual problem for me : too fine or too rough

I give 4 stars because I like a glass bowl and the size. I have tried to blend soft fruits and carrots the result is good, but not for the leaves.

If you want to chop a handful of herbs, mushrooms, nuts, garlic (probably not a handful!) whatever, this thing does a great job. Easy to clean and the glass container is perfect. i.e., not all plastic., which is a plus. Extremely handy and easy to clean. So far, it handles everything with ease and perfection. The dual blade aspect seems to abide the even cut/chop. The little silicon base is kind of a loose element, BUT, it serves a purpose to keep the unit stable. Not really a problem. Highly recommended. I use it a lot. it is a an essential element in my kitchen.

The ownerβs guide says to run it for no longer than 30 seconds, then to wait 2 minutes before running it another 30 seconds.Furthermore it says if you run it 3 times for 30 seconds, let it cool for 15 minutes!I successfully made tahini with it but it took 40 minutes instead of 10 because of cool down time.Yes, the motor got warm to the hand after 3 sets of 30 seconds.I plan to use it till it dies and then buy quality. (I am also skeptical of the blade qualityβ weβll see.)If it dies sooner than I believe is reasonable, or if it unexpectedly survives, Iβll update this review.

One must be careful not to overtax the motor. It can’t grind coffee beans or ice. Does a great job with proper use. Easy to clean. Does small batches. Good for active cooks.

The chopper looks very nice and has been working as expected. I’ll come back to downgrade if it is less than what I thought I bought.
