- Practical And Portable: Induction Cooktop uses 120V electrical outlet – standard in all American homes; lightweight and compact for easy handling and storage. The outside bottom surface of the cookware must be made of a ferrous magnetic material such as cast iron, enameled steel, or magnetic stainless steel. Any pots and pans used with this cooktop must have a flat bottom and measure between 4.7β – 10.2β in diameter.
- Digital Touch Control Panel And LED Display: This great induction cooktop has built-in count-down digital timer with 1 minute increments up to 240 minutes and 8 – temperature range from 140 Β°F to 460 Β°F; 8 power levels from 200 to 1800 Watts. Try it out and thank us later. Choose between 4 preset programs: hot pot, slow cook, boil and keep warm with ease.
- Safe And Easy To Use: The food does not burn-on the glass cooktop so this induction burner is very easy to clean – just wipe with a damp towel, simple as that! Also, the blade fan quickly dissipates heat to ensure a longer product life so you can enjoy cooking your favorite food on it. It also includes child safety lock that keeps the cooking and timer settings from being accidentally changed once they have been set.
- Lock And Pause Function: This function allows you to set the desired mode and then lock the control panel to avoid changing the setting by accident. To use the βLockβ function, push and hold the βLockβ button for 3 seconds until the message βLOCβ appears on display, and a beep is heard. All the buttons except the ON/OFF button will be locked!

I’ve used this cooktop almost every day for several months. Its my first induction cooktop and I can say its been a great intro to this type of heat source. Induction gives you much more control over heat level and you don’t get annoying hotspots like you might on an electric stove top. Take note that your cooking times might change a little bit, induction tends to cook a little faster.Pros-Well constructed, sturdy cooktop-Easy to clean-Good price point/quality compared to other entry level induction cooktopsCons-It makes a slight screeching noise when heating up an empty pot. It seems like that an empty pot will move ever so slightly and perhaps it is scraping against the cooktop. Not a factor when cooking something in the pot-They put a plastic piece at the front edge of the cooktop. There’s a chance that a pan will come in contact with that plastic and melt it. This happened to me. Still works however.-Heat controls jump 30-50 degrees when hitting +/-. The sweet spot for say an omelet or a hamburger seems to be just above “slow cook” which is around 210 degrees. The problem is the next jump up is 260 degrees which tends to overcook the outsides and not finish the inside. Maybe its just me, but I wish I could set it at around 225 – 235 for most foods I think that would be perfect.Neutral-I have yet to find a reason to use the highest heat levels. Its way too hot to cook almost all foods. It boils a pot of water VERY fast though.

I bought this to get into induction cooking in my small apartment. It has been much better than electric stovetop cooking and is very easy to use. Rice cooks perfectly (bring to a boil, stir, reduce heat to simmer, add lid, set timer to 10 minutes, let rest) and my moka pot finishes a brew in 4 minutes.I didnβt realize that a large skillet would melt the plastic edges of the cooktop. You can NOT use large pans at high heat on this unit. Also, there are very few settings, so if 140Β°F isnβt warm enough you have to go to 212Β°F, and other temperature jumps are as big. Precise adjustment isnβt possible. It applies power in bursts to get lower temps, so you will see boiling even at the low setting. This will scorch some foods, so be careful. As a basic, cheap cooktop it works well and would be a good starter unit for anyone looking to get into induction cooking. It is not going to be a great cooktop for anyone long-term.

Very functional and easy to use. The preset is great to get water boiling for pasta / etc. Most importantly, it runs fairly quiet, Iβve had other induction cookers that buzzed rhythmically while running – with enough vibrations to move a pot of water around. This one just quietly does it job.As for design, a 3/5, the plastic trim, especially the corners, makes it feel cheap as theyβre kinda sharp. For the price, definitely worth it.

This was extremely helpful when our stove went out. It was an excellent replacement and offered a taste of induction cooking. However, the heat settings default to max temperature, which heated our pan so quickly that it cracked a cast iron dutch oven that my Wife was using. I’ll grant that there’s some user error there, but the temperature control is coarse (140, 212, 300, …, 465degF), it defaults to the max, and seems to actually be a power setting rather than a temperature setting. Once we learned to use it, it was great. But it did cost us the dutch oven.

Solid product. Had held up to daily use for 6 months now. Turning it on is still confusing to this day. I never know when it’s on or cooling or half-on. It’s really unintuitive. I don’t understand why there isn’t just an on/off button and a simple left and right for temperature control. Have it default to medium temperature and let you adjust from there. Also you can only choose from one of several preprogrammed temperatures. You can choose 140 degrees, 212, 300, etc. You can’t go in between these temps, you have to use the ones allowed.

Overall it is a good product. I think the lowest setting to keep things warm is still a little too hot at 140Β°. It would have been great if they added a lower setting. I do love it though!

Make sure to read what pots and pans you can use with this burner. As long as you have the right ones, works perfectly. I hate using our gas stove in the camper. This burner works out perfectly for outside or inside use at our campsite.

I got this to cook outside. The glass top cleans easily, but the edges are plastic so itβs easy to melt if a hot pan is rested on the edge. After cooking, it does cool off very quickly. I havenβt had any issues with it, but it does seem like it has the capacity to cook very hot, but the temperature controls are very responsive (temperature changes up and down quickly). Boils water quickly – faster than gas! Because itβs an induction cooktop, cookware must be magnetic iron or steel. Most of my pans worked. Aluminum, glass, ceramic, and copper donβt work.Iβm happy with my purchase and the price was right. Would buy again.
