I like that I have plenty of room on this griddle to cook multiple items at the same time. It heats up quickly and cooks the food very well. I like that the handles can be taken off and put on easily by pushing a button. However, the handles are a little loose but seem secure enough. It also has a drip tray to catch oils and juices. The griddle is easy to clean, even though it doesn’t fit completely in the sink- it shouldn’t be submersed in water anyway. I place it in the sink leaning against the middle section of the sink, with the plug side up so as to not get water in it. Then I put a little dish soap on it and wash it with a sponge. Then I rinse and dry it off. It’s kind of big and bulky so it’s hard to store in a cabinet. When I’m not using it I store it in my pantry with it leaning on its side against the wall. The plug and handles detach for easy storage.

I’ve only used this once so far, but it did a fantastic job. Points of interest: 1) SUPER easy to assemble out of the box, no tools required 2) as warned in the instructions it does have a bit of smell the first time even though I washed it first – this did not affect taste 3) I was really surprised with the temperature control. I didn’t think it was going to be very good since it’s just 1-5 instead of Low-Medium-High or actual temperatures buy let me tell you: it heats up to ready temp quickly, and cools down to new temp quickly as well when you reduce heat. IMPRESSIVE 4) really easy to clean too, wipes clean easily even without soap and water (though I used it after anyway). I cooked up a mess of scrambled eggs and it’s wierd – they tried to stick a bit but then came off easily too. This is probably because the griddle surface I textured instead of glass-smooth. There are 2 small flaws in the cook surface, like some debris got on there when it was dipped or sprayed but it didn’t affect anything. So far I’m pleased with the appliance

1st one arrived with the handles machined incorrectly and the heating element would not go in all the way so it did not work. Customer service promptly send a replacement. I works ok. it takes a while for the heat to be more evenly distributed on the whole surface and does not seem to reach consistently high temps for cooking thinks like hamburger (meat in general)

I specifically bought this for a themed birthday party. I also had plans for using in to make pancakes on a regular basis.I bought this model based on the size — I wanted a large even-cooking surface. This was one of the largestModels I could find. It also had convenient storage and washing features.I liked that the handles and oil collection tray are dishwasher safe. This saves me time because the griddle itself is hand wash only.We have cooked pancakes, thin sliced beef, chicken, shrimp, and a multitude of vegetables on this griddle. It cooked very evenly and heats quickly. I find that it does maintain even heat when adding colder items.I do wish it came with a storage container or bag. I’m currently storing it in the original box. I feel like this would be better protection for the cook surface.

Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This griddle is a great price, the perfect size and so easy to clean. I’ve made breakfast a hundred times, it’s big enough for pancakes and bacon at the same time. I’ve even made hibachi style steak chicken and fried rice a few times! It’s easy to clean. The only tiny issue I’ve ever had is one leg slipping off, but it popped right back on and has never come off since. Highly recommended!

I purchased this griddle to use in place of my old, warped griddle pan.It works SO GREAT! It does heat a little unevenly on the outsides, but if you adapt to placement for certain foods, it really works well. We’ve made pancakes, french toast, eggs, burgers, bacon, etc. and it definitely holds up to our frequent use.

This product does not have a removable plate, regardless of what it states. It simply has removable handles and drip tray, but the plate is permanently attached to the heating element and electrics and cannot be submersed in water. This does not affect the review as I figured it out before I ordered.First, the handles are a bit loose, but it does not affect cooking. Second, the heating element is exposed underneath the griddle so you must use on a heat resistant surface. I just use my stove. This could be a burn hazard if you have curious, small children. My product came with two scratches from the manufacturer, but we decided to keep it anyway. Seems too small an issue for a return/exchange.We ordered this because of the higher wattage (1800) and the extra, extra-large size (12×24). The higher wattage allows for the griddle to sear meat and the larger size keeps foods from crowding, important for sautéing a large quantity of mushrooms with a steak. Eggs cook very nicely but there is a learning curve to lifting them off the griddle with the non-stick coating and lack of any sizable lip on the sides. What would have taken two or three pans before became a pretty easy task with this. Everything came out perfect and tasted great. One small issue was test cooking a fully thawed hamburger (Great Value, 75% lean, 25% fat). The grease did not drain and basically steam cooked the burger with little searing or browning. You might keep a roll of paper towels handy or keep moving the burger and spatula off the grease…. or use a leaner burger?

Great product easy to use, to assemble and to clean! The only thing is when it is used for long period of time heat starts reducing automatically and it takes some more time to get back to the right temperature. So it is not in a constant temperature. But it gets back to the desired temperature.
