   It took me a really long time to pick out a pressure cooker because I was looking for one that fits 4x quart size jars in it and hits 15PSI. I’ve used this unit maybe five times so far and the latch is already deteriorating. It’s got this green plastic piece that plugs into a silicone lined hole and then you rotate it to lock the lid shut. The plastic pieces the latch catches on are already wearing down. And it’s bleeding steam out of a gap in the sealant where the handle meets the lid. Like, the rest of the sealant is there along the edge of the handle for the rest of the way, but it’s coming undone near that green piece. I can kinda jostle the green piece just right to get it to close properly but jeez it shouldn’t take this much effort. It’s a neat design with all the safety features and all but it’s not perfect and the unit doesn’t seem like it’s going to last.

   First one came damaged, but they quickly replaced it! I love this pressure cooker. I accidentally ordered this… I meant to order the digital canner by Presto which looks identical to this one just a different model. I decided to keep it when I realized how much better it worked than my current pressure cooker. So easy to use. Food tastes great. Very pleased! I’m still planning on purchasing their canner too! 5 stars!

   This is my second one. Most people buy these and use them once or twice because they don’t take the time to discover what all you can do with them.We live in south florida and we don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen when we can be outside.We make full meals, lasagna, cakes, cheesecake etc in this.

   Five stars is so that those of us that looks for 5 star reviews, even when so many 1 star, to be discouraged:Used Once!!! A new record of bad quality!!! Second time turned on and died 5 minutes later…Returning and getting InstantYouKnowThename 10qt on used market since they do not make the 10qt any longer.

   I like I can replace my crock pot and vegetable steamer with this and cook most things in an hour insteadof all day in a crock pot, in addition to being a canner.
