This is our first air fryer. Watched a lot of YouTubes before the purchase. Seemed like Ninja was the best/safest choice not having to worry about it suddenly dying one day. We were also lucky to catch an additional discount when we bought it.Even though we deliberately bought the Max XL, we never use the 450 F setting. I find that 350-390 F is hot/fast enough for all of our cooking. At 450, I feel there is too much risk of burning things, and the Ninja cooks fast enough anyway. Here are some of the things I cook most often with the Ninja: french fries, onion rings, tonkatsu, baked potato, bacon, wings, fish, reheat pizza. Everything comes out better and faster compared to conventional methods of cooking. We’re just blown away. And the amount of oil not being used anymore is eye-opening.Oil misting bottle is highly recommended. The noise doesn’t bother me in the least bit. It’s actually a pleasant sound, like it’s doing some real work. Some areas I would like to see improved in the future:* timer setting. Too cumbersome. I don’t want to be pressing buttons all day to set the right time. So I usually go by the default (20 minutes), start the preheat, and just check frequently, time it manually. I have to wonder if those dial knobs might be easier to use than digital buttons. At least a dial interface for quickly getting to the time desired would be nice. Also a preheat button is very necessary.* better safeguard for the top edge of the “pot”. I manually flip things over, in the middle of cooking (because shaking is sometimes not enough), and it’s all too easy to touch the hot rim at the top when doing this. A plastic shield ring that doesn’t disrupt the airflow would work.* the silicone pads on the crisper plate traps oil, water, and debris. Kind of a pain to “put the socks on and off”.* also, the center of the crisper plate is a bit strange in shape and tends to trap some food when they fly around in the air flow. Some handle feature is needed for lifting but the design could use improvement.Perhaps there are some air fryers out there which will do the same thing at a lower price, but I am glad I bought the Ninja right when the price was reduced, and hope to get years and years of use out of this equipment.

I love this machine! It blows competitors’ air fryers away!I had a cheaper air fryer, which took forever to cook or reheat foods, but it did the job. The issue was the capacity and the fact that sometimes I had no clue whether it was cooking, trying to preheat, or what. It would turn itself off and I never knew exactly what was going on.I knew with a Ninja I couldn’t go wrong. I opted for the biggest size, and I can easily air fry chicken nuggets and fries for the kiddos, and I have had no issues Baking other foods in this guy!My only negative point is that it’s about 1/4” too tall to put on my pantry shelves when It’s not in use, but I can still store it.

Got this for my boyfriend because he is constantly trying new recipes and stuff. He adores this thing and is constantly using it. Its very easy to use, even I understand how to use it. His only complaint was capacity and if you are using it for chicken, you cant layer it the way he wants.

I heard Air Fryers were a thing so I finally pulled the trigger. I use it daily. My favorite is chicken thighs with seasoning, 6 min , flip, 5 min on 400.Pretty easy to clean. Haven’t tried the paper liners yet.

Perfect size to leave out on your counter. Looks great and works excellent. We are shocked how well this machine cooks the meats. Perfectly! The veggies cooked in this come out excellent. A must for every kitchen. Only draw back is the amount of food it holds too cook isn’t quite large enough so we have to do many things twice if we are feeding 4, but that is the only thing we find as a bit of a problem. Excellent cooker.

It is pretty user-friendly and works as described. It leaves food with a chemical taste and smell after the first few uses. It will quickly become one of your go-to appliances.

This thing is a beast! Only reason I didn’t give it 5/5 stars is because you have to scoop, tong, or what-have-you, to get the food out of it. Very upsetting, considering some air fryers have a removable handle that can help you handle and distribute the food. Basically, you need silverware to get the food on the dish. But, it cleans well and has impressive cooking capabilities. Has lasted me a long time too. Again, this thing is a beast!
