COSORI Mini 2.1 Qt 7-in-1 Multi-Functional Programmable Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Sauté, Steamer, Yogurt Maker & Warmer, Includes Glass Lid, Sealing Ring and Recipe Book WOW! Definitely recommend this to anyone who hates spending time with food prep! That’s pretty much the summary statement for the time-saving Ninja QB900B Master Prep Chopper, Blender, Food Processor that I just bought. Nothing I own has done more to shave serious time off of my food preparation adventures! 2nd place goes to my COSORI Mini 2.1 Qt 7-in-1 Multi-Functional Programmable Pressure Cooker (also purchased on Amazon).with the combination of the Ninja and the Cosori, I spent more time thinking about what I wanted to eat, than I did actually preparing the food! I was a little bit cautious in buying a chopper. I figured I needed one to keep from cutting vital parts of my anatomy – mainly my fingers, as I’m a guitarist and I need my factory-issued ten digits. Mandatory. RESEARCH – RESEARCH – RESEARCH!So I did my research (as I am a research scientist/computer programmer) and I was going to buy one of those finger guards or cut-proof gloves ($10 – $20) and then I began to think about it and decided that a food chopper would be better suited. So I looked into those manual pressing jobs, but the only one that I thought would last for the duration was a $125 one and I said, “No way!” So then I looked at one of those manual, pull string gizmos, that remind me of a lawnmower starter. I almost got one, I actually ordered one and then canceled the order in less than five minutes after reading the reviews on a few of these types of units. The key to getting a good product is not to look at the five-star ratings, but rather the 1 to 2 star ratings. These will tell you far more than the 4 and 5-star ratings which people are gushing over. I’ve found that people will usually go much farther in describing what’s wrong with a product than they will about how good something is. Probably because they’re enjoying the product too much to write about it. Because the Ninja Food Processor saved me soooo much time, I figure I have the time to write this and still have saved time. ACTUAL OPERATION The operation of the machine is a breeze. You do have to chop your veggies into 1-1/2 inch portions just to fit them into the bowl. I’ve only used the smaller bowl and will test out the larger one later – my guess is that it will save even more time as I’ll be able to add whole peppers at a time. This thing is so fast and amazing (and relatively quiet too) that you have to be careful not to liquify your veggies. I literally pulsed the control button two or three times and it went to work like nothing I’ve ever seen. MAINTENANCE NOTESThe instructions say not to operate it for more than 15 seconds a pulse. This limit will probably turn a brick into butter. LOL! (It even does ice. Wow!) Cleanup was incredibly fast. I hate to clean. Hate it! But this was the fastest I’ve cleaned up on any appliance I have! And no tears from onions and I don’t have to handle peppers as much, so washing my hands afterwards is much faster. If you prep jalapeños and green peppers, it takes a awhile to scrub off the juice. And believe you me, I’ve had my share of running to the faucet to flush my eyes due to the pepper juice! Complete bummer! RELIABILITYThe unit is so sturdy and efficient, that I doubt that it will ever break down. This is due to the fact that it takes less than 2-3 seconds to complete any job. The only part I see wearing out are the blades, but they’re razor sharp and should probably last 6 months to a year. Now I’m not being paid to write this and I even bought a refurbished unit for $24, but I can tell you that if it only lasted one year, I would have made my money back many times over in saved time. And even if I’d of bought one brand new (for $15-$20 more) it would have been well worth it!ADDITIONAL NOTESThat’s about it. The unit was sooo good, that it inspired me to spend a little more time than I planned on this review, but if it can help others to get a great product, save time (and fingers!) then it’s definitely worth it. About the only thing it doesn’t do is stuff like French fries and anything that needs to be uniformly cut (for presentation) but the fact that is also doubles as a blender makes it well worth it, as the dicing like press products don’t have the blending ability that the Ninja has, and in actuality it produces very nicely chopped food as a result of it being a quality product! Thank you Amazon and all of its reviewers! And thank you Ninja Kitchen for such a fine product! OK, now my carrot, sweet pepper, jalapeño, green pepper, rice lentil, split pea soup in my Cosori Pressure Cooker is about ready. I’m gonna settle down to a nice meal that only took 10-12 minutes to make. As opposed to the usual 25-30 minutes. I’d give the Ninja 10-stars if I could. As a bachelor who works out of his home-office, I couldn’t be happier. Sincerely, Billi!

I like the fact that it is light weight, blends nicely and was very reasonably priced. As a precaution, I did get that Asurian ( sp) card that enables me to get money back or repairs made if there is a problem. So far, no need to use that, and it was very reasonably priced. It is easy to clean in the dish washer. So far, I just use the large container to make a variety of smoothies, and haven’t used the bowl part. Actually, don’t know what I’d use it for. Like ALL the specific directions, and appreciated the clear warning about how sharp the blades are. Was a little careless at first, and did get a little cut. One needs to be VERY careful when assembling the blender the first two times . My only frustration is that I still have problems putting the lid on properly. It is a bit of a puzzle to place it on the top correctly. However, I just go slow, and soon it fits into place.

I love this machine, especially the large one, which is 6 cups. The little processor is only 2 cups and is only good for nuts and spices. Also, there must be some liquid in the processor or it won’t work for long. I used it one day and the motor wouldn’t start. I tried for 10 minutes, trying get it to work and thought it was dead. Finally I lifted the lid and put it back on and it worked fine. So don’t think the motor’s a gonner’ unless you’ve tried everything first. But the large one is great. I use it for smoothies and put the nuts in the processor first to chop them to fine with a little almond milk, then add to large blender. Otherwise it’s too gritty for my taste. I’ve had it for 2 months and it’s great. Just wish the processor was larger. The price is very reasonable for this kind of power.

When I’m telling you this thing does the job. IT AMAZING. It breaks ice and frozen fruit for smoothies with EASE. I use it to also make sofrito/green seasoning and it’s perfect! Super easy to clean as the middle part just slides right out to clean (the blades). And I love that if I’m making something small or personal I can just use the smaller base. Don’t even get me started on the price. What a steal. I had a blender from the Exchange store on base. And that broke within weeks of me using it. I don’t think I’d ever buy any other blender besides this Ninja one! DONT HESITATE BUY IT. 🙂

This blender is relatively small but it packs a lot of power. It easily blends frozen fruit and ice. It doesn’t struggle to make smoothies like my old blender did. Great value for the money. The only drawback is that you have to hold the button while it operates, but it works so quickly that this is not really an inconvenience.

Love that motor is quieter than my bullet and large vitamin. Being able to pull out the blade ensures that blender is cleaned well.

I love everything about this blender ❤️ It’s easy to use, clean and it’s the best blender I have ever had! It’s light weight and the crushing of ice is very powerful. I highly recommend this blender?????

Make slushes and smoothies so, so, easy. I just love it. Giving my regular blender away.
