Let me get the drawbacks out of the way first. You would think that you could change the temp in increments of something. Maybe 5°, maybe 10°. Instead, the air fryer setting goes from 400°-390°–375°-360°-350°. I have found that 390° is a bit too hot for a lot of things, but they could use a bit more than 375°. Well, unless I’m missing something, I’m out of luck! I see a lot of people recommending 380° for various air fryer recipes, which is obviously pretty close to 375°, but not exactly. A lot of those recipes end up needing to go back in the fryer for a bit when they are supposed to be finished. The second problem is that it doesn’t quite seem to be as fast as some other air fryers, going by recommended settings I find online or on packages. If I go by the settings recommended either on the actual packaging or what people write online, the food is always underdone. Soggy, undercooked French fries and such. It is not that I am overloading it, it just isn’t powerful enough for that. I tried maybe 20 fries, arranged in a single layer and not touching. Followed the package instructions for an air fryer, and they were soggy. However, I just put them back for a few more minutes and they were perfect. Since I know that I have to go a bit further on every recipe, it doesn’t really matter now.The grill can take a while to pre-heat, but that’s not much of a drawback. It has to get the whole thing hot without touching it, so that’s understandable. It also it isn’t the most intuitive control scheme in the world, but you’ll get used to it.Now for the good! Everything works! You might be wondering why I’m so excited about a product actually functioning, but I have read so many reviews of various products breaking after 2 uses that I was worried about this thing doing the same. Well, I purchased this back on 3/17/22 and it is still working just fine on 7/21/22. Another reason this is great is that I use it basically every day. I work from home, and I am not the type to run to McDonald’s every lunch. I run upstairs and toss something in this 4-5 times per week. Sometimes I use the grill and the temp probe, sometimes I just air fry something. It happily does it all without so much as an issue. I can make some really tasty things on my 45 minute “lunch” break (a break that happens at 5pm because of when I work) that I’d never be able to make in a regular oven. One of my favorite things to make is air fried chicken legs that I have let marinade overnight. Just stick the temp probe in the fattest leg, set it to chicken, flip it once, and that’s it. They come out perfect every time.Overall, I’m quite happy with my purchase.

We’ve had this since 2021. It gets used at least 3 times a week. I think we’ve only had one occasion where it didn’t cook correctly and that could have been our fault. The grilling seems spot on especially when using the thermometer. Because of the grilling, we’ve only used our outdoor grill once this year. We’re a busy household and my wife loves the fact that she can put some meet in and go about other business only checking on it when it beeps. Her only complaint is if it would have been slightly bigger. When we make steaks or patties there always seems to be be one or two that can’t fit. Keep in mind we’re a family of six.I wouldn’t say cleaning is easy however it’s not difficult. The top grate is the harder part to clean however we use a brush to do a once over and then put in the dishwasher along with the bottom pan once we drain the grease.Overall we’re quite happy with this and so far it’s proven to be durable.

The best thing on my counter. It cooks right and fast. Still finding different things to cook with no let downs yet. One hint is when using seasoning, back off some. It seems to bring it out more. Enjoy

This thing is super cool. But don’t grill lean meats like New York strip, it was very dry. Better with a good ribeye.

I have owned my Ninja Indoor Grill about 3 months, and wow do i love it. I have grilled burgers, and broiled steaks; air fried french fries, and crab rangoon appetizers; and baked chicken kiev. And each shockingly came perfectly.I had to watch the fries carefully, and take them out before the Ninja timer indicated or they probably were going to done, and the steak came out before the “medium rare” setting.I don’t consider this a problem, it just says that you must keep an eye on what you are cooking, and adjust the temp/timing to better meet my preferences. My bottom line is that I love the Ninja.

I love it SO MUCH that I can’t say enough about it. If you grill meats and fish, I think you will love it too. I got one for myself and then one for my mom – she loves it just as much as I do. Examples of awesome: frozen salmon filet with skin on, on the wire rack sprayed with olive oil, 390F, 19mins – crispy!! Frozen chicken wings, 10 wings in the basket sprayed with olive oil, 390F, 20-24mins, crispy!! Defrosted NY Strip Steak, .75lb, on the wire rack sprayed with olive oil, 400F, 12mins, Med Rare throughout. I have used the grill too and it really grills! But you need good ventilation for that mode – open windows, kitchen fan, etc. Defrosted butterflied lobster tails brushed with butter on top in the basket, 380F, 10-12mins, perfect. Of course, I do veges too! But the speed and perfection of this machine for meats is life-changing for me. I have told everyone in my family that it has made me love salmon because I can finally make it well-done without a hassle and that tastes less fishy (to me)! Clean up is easy – pop out the basket and grilling things and soak in the sink. These can also goes in the dishwasher. The only thing I don’t think you need is the thermometer – at least, mine doesn’t work that well. But once I got the hang of the temp and timing, I don’t use a thermometer as often. It comes with a recipe book and I’ve found the directions work. I love this machine. Highly recommend.
