I love the browning this does to the all-beef dogs, giving them a “snap” when you bite. And I enjoy the easy quick drop dogs on, turn on machine and walk away for 15 to 20 minutes. My annoyance is that this machine can only cook 4 dogs at a time leaving a lot of wasted cooking space. The rollers are approximately 9 inches long but average dogs are 6 inches which doesn’t allow more than 1 dog per cooking lane, thus 4 total cooking at any given time. Bun warmer does warm but it actually lightly toasts the bread, something kiddos and most just don’t like their dogs on toasted bread.

I was excited to find a rolling cooker under $50. The color scheme and mostly plastic construction of the product didn’t inspire confidence in its potential durability, but I figured it was worth a shot. For a very basic rolling cooker it performs adequately. For hotdogs and hotdog-like sausages, I now prefer them cooked on rollers to any other method. I can now cook breakfast sausage links without burning them on just one side. There are some things that could have made this cooker great that it just missed. No specific temperature setting. The knob will smoothly slide between High and Low when moved with no clicks or frame of reference. It did advertise that it could cook breakfast sausages. I assumed this meant links, but the links that I can buy from the store are thinner than the rollers can handle, they will just fall through. I have to manipulate the sausage links first to make them shorter and thicker. If the rollers were just a little bigger or closer together, I could just open the package and throw them on.The included “drip tray” is a misnomer, I believe it should be a “drip sheet”. A tray has a raised border of some kind, this one does not or not worthy of mention at least. Any grease will drip down and slide right off.Overall, its ok. I don’t think I would buy another, but it did let me find out if I would use one without breaking my budget.

The bun “warmer” makes our buns stale/hard

I took a chance on this due to the reviews I read they were about 50/50 but I really wanted it. I have to say that it is so easy to use and the hot dogs taste very good and I Love how easy it is to clean. The bun warmer does not work all that well but not a deal breaker if you like you buns warm just toss them in the microwave for a few seconds. It does what it says and really does hold 8 regular hot dog (FYI it takes a bit for the hotdogs to start rolling because they are kinda flat but once they start warming up they will plump up and start really rolling-so give it a few seconds to do it’s thing), if you are using the bun size dogs they will not all fit. My kids are now requesting to have more hot dogs for dinner lol. I let my parents barrow it and they loved just as much as I did, my Nana is looking to purchase one her self.

Got it earlier than expected and tried it out that night. The hot dog rollers work great and the dogs are constantly turning. It says it can cook breakfast sausage links, it may have been the brand I bought, but the links kept falling between the rollers. Overall, I like it and will use it more often.

Is for new business

Good looking. But it is hard to clean. The rollers will be rusty if you put them in the dishwasher.
