Excellent popcorn popper!!! Works great and the popcorn turns out fluffy. Distributes the butter very evenly. Love it!!!Be sure to wash it well. It has a new appliance flavor the first few times of using it. You can put it in the dishwasher. Be sure to read the manual for all the cleaning recommendations. We highly recommend it

My Stir Crazy suddenly stopped working so, since this popcorn popper only cost $19.99, I bought it as a replacement. Overall, I’m happy with it. The cooking time seems comparable to the Stir Crazy, although there are more unpopped kernels in the Nostalgia (about 2 or 3 vs 8 to10 from 1/4 cup popcorn). The bowl on the Nostalgia is a little smaller than on the Stir Crazy, but I like that it’s lighter when you turn the bowl over, given that you’re only picking up the cooking plate and not the entire base. The Nostalgia is also easier to clean, since you don’t have to worry about getting any electrical parts wet. I did have a painful experience with the Nostalgia though. When I flipped the bowl over, right after the popcorn was all popped, I inadvertently touched the metal part of the cooking plate with my thumbs, and promptly got burned on both of them. Just a warning, that cooking plate is hot, so make sure you keep your hands on the plastic handles and don’t make the same mistake I did.

Bought this for my husband, and he’s been happily using it every day since it’s arrival. Extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone who is in the market for a quick and easy popcorn maker.

We roast green coffee beans, and this popcorn maker does a fine job. I roast 1/3 cup at a time. All the beans are uniformly roasted because the air tumbles them. This is a great product for a household which roasts a small amount of coffee at a time.

As advertised and reviewed.I usually have used a sauce pan and a strainer basket as lid to let out steam and restrain the mountain of popped corn. This makes popcorn almost as light and fluffy, but no mess from oil and no extra bowl needed to dump the popped corn into! Its also silly to say…..but its fun!Used it 3x and can’t wait to use it with friends and kids!

The title says it all. Ive used oil poppers for years. With this one you must stay on top of it and monitor by sound/when it you hear a a few errant pops every few seconds/turn it upside down into the bowl. The visable difference in this model from previous ones is the metal plate detaches from the heating element. Be sure to use plenty of oil to lessen the chance of scorching kernals.

I like how the entire bowl can be lifted without having to turn the entire machine upside down unlike previous versions of this product!!
