I bought it to replace my Presto pan when the glass lid shattered. I liked the idea of the M shaped burner because I thought it would cook more evenly and that was the one complaint I had about the Presto – the burner was just around the edge of the bottom of the pan and did not cook as fast in the middle of the pan. Well, this pan does not brown as evenly abd has already discolored a little in the middle. I really wish I had gotten another Presto.

Even heat distribution due to pattern of coil under pan. Can saute and fry anything without worry of boiling instead. Good maintenance of heat temp up to 425 degrees. I use it out on my veranda to keep certain cooking odors out of my house. (Directions say not to use it outdoors, but I have a summer kitchen with counter.) It is a seriously good appliance.

Nice & does the job*UPDATE*-After 5 or 6 uses the non stick coating started to come off. Approx 1/2 dollar size. NO, I don’t scrap it. Always clean gently. I contacted MFG & they sent out another bottom piece under warranty. Hope this holds up. 5 stars due to great customer svc!

I do a ton of cooking in electric skillets, ofen I’ll have 2 going at a time with different parts if a meal, so I’ve owned and used a bunch of them. This is by far my favorite! Cooks more evenly, the digital cord/control is lightyears beyond the traditional dial control. Nonstick isnt perfect but is holding up for better than other skillets have. My only complaint us that I’d like to get a second one but they are currently unavailable.Update, skillet broke not long after I wrong this review, control started shorting out, so lasted less than a year unfortunately. I’d probably still buy again hoping this one was a fluke because I loved it while it worked.

My wife begged to get an electric skillet. The NUWAVE Medley XL caught my eye because of the reviews and because of the size. The non-stick feature works perfectly and the heating element seems to provide more than enough even heat. We do plan on purchasing a second one, but the smaller version because this version is too large when cooking smaller meals. One of the best features is the digital readout that makes it easy to control the heat. The last benefit to this one is the depth of the pan, which has permitted us to use the skillet to make “one-pot” meals by cooking and mixing everything together in the skillet. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy to use electric skillet that is on the higher end of the market.

This did not work for me at all. Bought for my RV and it was too big and hard to clean or put anywhere. It is just a big electric skillet, which I didnt need. I thought it was going to be special for alot of different cooking. ??
