After researching different electric pressure cooker brands I came across this one by Nuwave. I have used it to make chili and a pot roast and both came out very well. The sear/browning function works well but it would be nice if the default time was longer. It’s easy enough to reset the time though. I wish there was also a stainless still pot available as an option. The included pot is PTFE free I believe though? The hinged lid is also a nice feature since you don’t have to worry about finding space to sit the lid and it allows the condensation to drip down and into the plastic catcher. Overall I’m happy with the purchase so far.Update 7/5/17I wanted a stainless steel pot and found this one by Cosori. I took a chance since they make an electric pressure cooker that looks almost identical to the Nuwave. There is no glass lid to cover the food once the pressure cooker lid is removed. What’s suppose to protect the meal? All my other ones came with glass lids. Disssappointed.
