I love almost everything about this. It heats up fairly fast. Cleaning is a breeze, just wipe it out with a paper towel it or cloth. I love how many different things it can make. So far I have made grilled cheese, crescent rolls, crescent rolls stuffed with chili, cheese and hot dogs and, then mozzarella with pepperoni in crescent rolls, I even made some pumpkin pancakes. Oh and I even made fried eggs and an omelette which leads to my only issue with the Sandwich Maker…..The wells are too shallow. By the time I put everything in my sandwich or whatever I am making and add the top piece of bread and, then try to close it, half of the sandwich is squished out and makes a terrible mess. If the wells were a bit deeper that wouldn’t happen. As it is right now, I have to put extremely small portions in the sandwich. Trust me, grilled hot ham and cheese with 1 piece of ham, broken up and 1/2 piece of cheese for 1 sandwich is just flavored toast. Otherwise, it’s a great product.

Takes around 12mins for a normal grille cheese, little long in my opinion. Waffles take really long too, so I would assume using the grille for meats would take forever

I like the interchangeable plates – It cooks Quickly, the only down side is sometimes the Bread is thick and it’s hard to close the clip, I would buy this again if need be

It has a non-stick surface that even melted cheese doesn’t stick to which makes it effortless to clean. Changing the plates on it is a cinch. When I am in a hurry or simply tired after work I can make a quick grilled cheese, tuna melt or even a pizza pocket. Works wonderful for waffles and eggs. My son loved the waffles so much he wanted some for dinner.
