First, this French press should be called a German press, because the instructions are only in German. So, after buying a subscription to Babble and taking a crash course in Deutsche, I was FINALLY able to use my press! Danke, Babble!Second, it came with a big dent on the bottom. Eh, oh well. Doesn’t effect the FLAVOR.What, Flavor?? No, this French press doesn’t improve or worsen the flavor of my coffee. Duh. So, ignore the flavor references in other reviews.Lastly, maybe it’s me, or I should have renewed my subscription to Babble and learned a bit more German to completely understand the instructions, but my press consistently does NOT plunge completely, even after meticulously cleaning all plunging parts. My guess is the screen accumulates too much oils and must be thoroughly cleaned each and every use? I don’t know.In conclusion, despite the hundreds I spent on learning German, the ugly dent, and my dirty plunging parts, it’s an ok product.

This works well. Very sturdy stainless steel material. The coffee stays warm for about 45-1 hour. Very easy to clean. Just wish the finish was coated so it doesn’t scratch. Other than that, great product!

I needed to replace a glass one I dropped and broke. This is a huge upgrade. It works perfectly and looks amazing. The teak handle is a nice touch and it keeps the coffee hot for hours.
