My girlfriend has only used the blender/grinder a couple of times but it has done a great job both times. She was unsure of the brand at first but called a friend in India who gave it positive comments. She likes the size of the three containers and that they are stainless steel, most of the ones sold here in the US are plastic. The wattage is somewhat miss leading it seems when compared to US brands is low but this blender ground down the grain with no problem. So far, it is a good machine with only one issue it is, noisy, hence the 4 stars.

With this blender I am able to use for dry and wet grinding. It is quick and easy. Only little bit problem is cleaning as the blades cannot be separated. You have ton rinse several times and clean by hand.

We have been using it for 5 years now and we are pretty satisfied with this product. Its not as powerful as a Vitamix but it’s a perfect solution for all Indian grinding needs (Chutneys, Batters, Garam Masala etc.) It is low maintenance but if there is a need for repairs you might want to go for a new one 🙂 3 Jars are perfect for small and large quantities.Few things we follow for durability of the product – Don’t overload, Cut hard food items (Coconut or Dry date) in small pieces, Run it in small laps instead of 1 continuous churn.
