Have been using this juicer on navel oranges from my backyard tree with no problems so far after using it for a month and for at least a dozen sessions in which the built in reservoir was filled to the 24 oz mark with orange juice. I have been using the larger reamer mostly due to the sizes of the oranges. The auto reverse feature is nice to get more juice and uniform juicing from the orange halves. The feature works best if you lift up the half orange you are working on every few seconds, since the timer for the reverse direction is short and it only reverses when the motor is not moving. I have found that it is best not to ream the oranges all the way to the white rind since it makes the juice taste bitter. The unit is easily to clean, and I am doing it by hand it takes less than 5 min. The pulp screen is easily to clean just by rinsing with warm water and moving the level back and forth to make sure the pulp is out of the slots. I have not found a convenient way to separate the top and bottom halves of the pulp screen, and it is really not necessary as it turns out. The plastic cover that comes with the juicer, keeps the dust out when it is being stored on a counter, which is nice. The noise level is fairly high, but this is because of the gears in the bottom of the unit that convert the motor motion into the drive shaft for the reamer. There is no need to press down too hard to get the orange juiced (for ripe oranges), since pressing hard will also make the juicing less efficient, and tear up the orange sections inside. Each orange half only takes around 30 seconds or less usually to extract the juice. Based on the reviews, I got the extended warranty, but so far, the unit is working fine without any problems, making 24 oz of juice every couple of days (60 oranges or more so far).

We spent a Friday night squeezing lemons to make lemonade for a lemonade stand. Saturday I ordered this and the next time we made lemonade, it took no time and half as many lemons to get the same amount of juice. It does still let some pulp in, so I strained it with a mesh strainer but not too much. I donβt know how it compares to a fancier, more expensive juicer but it beats squeezing by hand. Made limeade for margaritas with it as well.

Pro: Easy to use and works good..Con: It does have a short electric cable and it’s a little fragile..Other than that, it does the job well!!

slice the orange in half. Put half on the juicer and push. Simple, simple, simple. Keep a steady presssure and a bit of a grip to keep the fruit from spinning. Seeds and pulp filtered from the juice.

This works great once I figured out that you have to remove the yellow center piece before trying to get the container off the base.

I need to change my review.I thought this juicer stopped working but it turned out it was my ground fault interrupter in my kitchen. It may have caused a surge which caused the ground fault to break but all in all itβs a decent juicer. This is a cute yellow citrus juicer, butβ¦It was noisy and difficult to clean. The second time I used it, it just stopped dead.I have contacted the manufacture for replacement or refund. I do not think I would buy this particular Alex lemonade stand juicer again. The manufacture reached out to me quickly, and I made an apology to them as well. Iβm going to use it again today.

We used a hand held juicer for years. The handheld juicer is a quick way to juice for cocktails and recipes. Here is the magicβ¦once we received this electric juicer, we juiced a bag of lemons and limes for a cocktail party. We were blown away at the amount of juice we have been leaving behind hand squeezing! In summary, youβll get more juice using this juicer, with minimal clean up!
