I purchased this product because of the ease of operation and reputation of RABBIT. I found the foil cutter to be poorly designed and just about useless. Instead of having 2 curved cutting blades that you can squeeze and apply even pressure all around the foil as you turn the bottle it has 2 small wheel type blades which don’t appear to be very sharp on one side of the cutter. You must hold the cutter against the bottle top and apply pressure where the “blades” contact the bottle as you turn the bottle. Difficult to do. I don’t use it. I have a foil cutter from another opener that I use. The second thing to know is how to remove a cork from within the remover if the remover stops and fails to remove the cork from the opener as it did for me one time. If directions came with the opener I didn’t save them so I was unaware of the procedure. There is a small pin hole switch underneath the removable top (foil cutter) where you access the charging port. Use a pin or other small “tool” and insert to start the motor. I used a toothpick. Otherwise it works as described and is very nice product.

This opener starts to cork the minute it touches the bottle or cork. It caught me off guard because with the old one I had, I could position the opening how I wanted and then hit go. With this one, it just GOES!!! sometimes at an angle. Upon removing the cork, the opener waits a beat and then starts the reverse process to spit out the cork! It’s still new to me, but so far it feels pretty powerful. My old one pooped out pretty quickly… Stay tuned… we shall see with this one!

The opener is very easy to use and has worked with all corks so far. Such a delight, I grumble when the bottle is a screw top. I’m undecided about the foil cutter, since it seems more difficult to use.

The opener works great! I noticed some of the reviews said the foil cutter did not work so after reading many reviews I caught the trick! You can’t just set it on top and turn it. You just have to first look where the two silver cutters are and press that end against the top of bottle while turning the bottle and it pops right off with a clean cut!

This is a very nice opener. It’s light as a feather. Simply push it down on the top of the bottle, it engages and pulls out the cork. Raise the opener and it automatically unscrews the cork into your hand. It doesn’t get any easier than that. This will be a go-to gift for me to give.

This thing works great when fully charged.Battery life seems to be an issue.I would prefer a bigger table mounted manual unit.Cannot vouch for it’s longevity.

I’ve had many wine openers and this one is my favorite. Very easy to use, not even a button to push. I loved it until I put it on a bottle, it dug into the cork, and the battery died. Now I have a bottle that I can’t open until I recharge the battery! Fortunately, the screw was fully seated and my husky brother was able to pull the whole thing out from the bottle. I recharged it and then later it spit the cork out! Remember, there’s no indicator of battery level, so you might wan to top it off occasionally.
