I bought this to replace a bread machine I used happily for many years because it had started leaking and something inside started making a lot of noise. What struck me most about the Saki machine is that it is quiet while running and is easy to start using. I think the manual that accompanies it could be little more informative. If I had not used a bread machine before, it might have been harder to understand what was not completely explained. There are also not a lot o f yeast bread recipes included though there are some recipes for yogurt, jam and sweet breads. You can download the manual but it is the same as the one in the box. I made three loaves so far and they all came out very well. I used the dough cycle for one which I shaped and baked in my oven and made one of the 3 pound loaves and another that was 2.5 pounds which I had the Saki bake. The loaves were well mixed and baked well with a nice crust. The pan is more horizontal like a real loaf pan, which I like because it slices much better. I cut the 3 pound loaf in half and then in slices because it was fairly tall. There are two paddles like the Zojirushi. They are relatively shallow so even left in with the bake, they make holes in the bread, but not too large. The machine is less heavy than my older one and I appreciate it since I donβt keep it on the counter and have pick it up and put it away after using it. There were not a lot of reviews on this machine but I decided to take a chance on it anyway. It seems like a good choice. The proof is more in how long it lasts and I canβt speak to that yet. I will update my review if there are changes. I am hoping that the pan does not leak eventually, like my other one but that does seem like the weak point for these appliances. The bread came out of the non-stick pan easily. I had to do a short soak to clean the paddle spindles but that seems standard. Otherwise it was easy to get clean. I am encouraged by my experience so far and looking forward to using it regularly.

I purchased this machine because of it’s large 3-lbs capacity. The Saki does not disappoint. I do not use the bread baking cycle because I don’t like the holes at the bottom of my loaf and I think the finished 3-lbs loaf is too tall when baked in the machine’s bread pan.Instead, I use the Saki’ instead of an expensive, bulky stand mixer to make dough. First, pour the ingredients, use program #7 (10-minutes) to knead the dough. Judge if the dough is too moist or too dry and adjust by adding liquid or flour. Next set rogram #6 (1-hr 50 minutes) to make the dough. When done, divide and dough in 2-baking pans, let the dough rise at room temperature or usually in the oven (105 F) for another 60-90 minutes, bake at 350 F for 20-minutes. A little extra work yields – A TRULY DELICIOUS DELIGHT.I now bake an assortment of 6-7 loaves per week plus pizza dough for the family. For me it is a labor of love and a relaxing and ful”filling” hobby.Baking bread is tricky business. Recipes are only a guide and you need to experiment at the beginning. Type of flour used, temperature and humidity, rise time, all affect the outcome. This might explain why some people get disappointing results.Clean up is quick and easy. The pan is definitely a challenge to insert and pull out. A tight fit and you need to align the paddles so they fit perfectly in the bottom turning slots – a minor inconvenience in need of improvement.I have just requested Saki customer service to ship a new pan. My pan is leaking a small amount of black lubricant on the under-side. I trust they will respond quickly. All in all – very happy with this purchase.Follow Up1-week later – Saki sent a new machine. Very happy with their customer service.

Great bread machine!! This is an excellent machine at this price point to have the double mixers in the bottom and produce 1,2 & 3 lb loafs. Very impressed with the quality, super slick non-stick coating on the loaf pan and the bread recipe book that comes with this is a jewel in itself. There are sooo many amazing recipes in the book that comes with the machine and so far they turned out perfectly every time. The power button is a bit quirky to turn off. The instructions say to βunplug it to power it offβ and I found out through trial that the only way to get the power off button to work is to allow the machine to sit for an hour after the bread is made. Turning the machine on works flawlessly but you will either want to purchase a little toggle on-off switch to go at the outlet, wait the hour after your bread is made to utilize the power button or plan on unplugging the machine afterwards. Other than the power issue im still 100% satisfied

Powerful motor doesn’t seem to strain at all like the smaller bread maker we returned. Double paddle design does a better job mixing than single paddle. High quality at a reasonable price. Warranty service is very responsive. We had a problem with one of the paddle rotors freezing up and not turning after about 18 months ownership. The customer support rep Yucel T. was very professional and helpful and in a few days the new pan arrived. Quality at a good price with excellent support is hard to beat!

Bread (country white) came out tasty. But it does require the correct amount of bread flour too little or too much in the large 3# loaf is critical (as same for the two smaller breads) After a 3# loaf I have much trouble removing the two blades from the shaft in the bread pan. Other than that it makes wonderful bread in about 3 hours. Be certain you ONLY use bread machine flour (King Arthur) and Fleichman’s bread machine yeast. If you don’t, you won’t be successful. Sometimes I wonder….the bread flour is so fine I got a lot on me. Time to buy a chef’s apron. I am happy with the machine. I wash the bread pan with the blades that won’t come off until clean in my dishwasher.
