Personally I love opening wine bottles using the good old $4 wine opener. Not only does it stroke my ego it’s cheap and doesn’t take up any space. Unless you’re opening 4 bottles of wines per day, this is simply so extra. And it’s a burden when one lives in a one bedder in nyc. But we have not returned this because my partner refuses to. We have bought it for a couple of weeks now and used it twice. I have now hidden it in the top cabinet in our kitchen and will probably forget about it till NYE.

Tried others, but the charge connection in the base make this easier to use and keeps the corkscrew charged with a readably identifiably blue light when contact is made. Easy to remove cork from bottle and then from corkscrew. Recommended.
