I had my doubts at first.I wasn’t familiar with the brand. It seems like it would be too small. But I took a chance because I wanted a processor with a chute, that would make coleslaw and not pureed cabbage.I have to say, there’s not a lot to choose from.I was pleasantly surprised. This processor is small, but it’s tall enough to eject the ground up veggies directly into the largest bowl I have and make as large a batch of slaw as I would ever need.It also does a MUCH BETTER job with carrots and onions than the two Hamilton Beach models I have been using. The only thing I think could be improved is the outlet opening of the chute which is tapered on the way out in such a way as to become clogged easily. It’s actually pretty easy to remove the whole thing from the base so you can open it over the bowl and clear it out without losing the contents. But that design also makes cleaning the top section with the chute a little bit trickier than it would be if you could reach through from either end to remove stuck stuff. This wasn’t a problem for me since I ran water throu it as soon as I was finished using it.But if I wasn’t able to do that before it had a chance to dry and become stuck to the surface that couldn’t be reached, I could see it being a pain to clean. The small footprint is great because I can leave it on the countertop where it’s easy to get to and use whenever I need it.The other lid and blades that I don’t use as often fit easily into a storage bag and are stashed conveniently into the small cabinet over the microwave where most stuff wouldn’t fit.The container is big enough to make small batches of sauces and stuff that you wouldn’t want to eject with the chute. But if I need to make a larger batch, I can still use the old HB processor for that. This one is almost perfect for what I need it to do though. It’s actually the best I’ve used so far for making slaw.Just don’t try to force it.Cut stuff small enough to fit into the opening and it’ll do a great job shredding it up.NOTE: Upon receiving delivery, I received an email from the company to activate the 2 year extended warranty and free replacement.I haven’t had any problems with the unit. But it seems like they’re going to offer pretty good customer support and service if I need it.

I’ve never been a fan of food processors .. till This one!! I noticed the blades have a little different “bevel” than others I’ve had. I think this is Why it works Better than others I’ve tried. I have been surprised at how Fast this little thing processes… EveryThing! I prep a LOT of baby food for my freeze dryer, and it’s SO convenient and is a Nice looking machine! I was worried it might be to small, but didn’t want a Big one… It’s not. It’s Perfect and a little workhorse!

This is a very nice food processor with a small bowl. I broke the bowl and ordered a replacement. They don’t have any, rendering the unit unusable. Recommended of your careful and use it for small jobs. I ordered the Elite Gourmet on Amazon. It has a larger bowl and does a better job of rough cutting as I like to make thick salsa.

I love the design. I love the grater that shoots the cheese out to a bowl. Its is easy to clean. Its just the right size and easy to store. It stopped working after about a year and the company’s customer service was AMAZING!! They sent me a whole new unit and now I am happily chopping and shredding again!!! Thank you so much!!!!

The first issue is with the lid without the feeder tube. When making condiments like homemade mayonnaise, the slot for the liquid is too small and the hole too small to drain the liquid is also to small and down inside the slot and comes out the side of the hole rather than directly through the top of it. Liquid takes an enormous amount of time to drain through and only does so after taking a toothpick and pushing it through the hole.2nd issue with the lid with the chuteThis chopper has a chute too chop food and shoot it out through the side of the chopper. The first problem with this part of the chopper is that the lower portion doesn’t disconnect from the upper portion. The second problem with it is that the outer shoot is tapered in at the bottom and collects the chopped food. The two issues with this lid makes it difficult to clean and to get out all the food that has been processed. So in all, there are 3 issues with this product, that had I known about would have caused me to look further for a better designed and we’ll thought out appliance. If you don’t mind these issues, the product is OK. However, I’m thinking of returning this product. If the manufacturer updates both lids and sends them to all customers who’ve bought this product I’ll be glad to rewrite this review. Not impressed with their design/ testing issues.Warranty remarksI was quite impressed that shortly after our review above was posted to Amazon, we received an email from the Shardor warranty department. They offered a complete refund of the product without going through Amazon to return it, or, to get a replacement product. Since the replacement product was exactly the same one we had ordered we opted to receive it and modify the original product doing so in a video to show the company what we didn’t like and why, also the changes we made and how much better it worked with the modifications. They were glad we offered to do that to help them make a better product. If they continue to listen to those that buy their products and make reasonable changes as needed, we believe they will develop better products that please their customers. However, with that said, they should have performed enough testing to determine the design flaws prior to releasing the product.
