After buying Seltzer water for years I broke down and bought this soda stream. I am so glad I did! The beautiful red color and compact on my counter is perfect. Incredibly easy to use, my 11 year old son put it together and is able to make Seltzer water on his own. I also suggest buying extra soda stream bottles(I bought the colorful 3 pack) so that you have back up while hand washing them. One draw back I’ve noticed that the older soda stream machines had lights to show when it made light bubbles, medium, and very bubbly. Which was nice because I can’t tell the timing yet. I don’t know if I’m wasting the tank by holding the button too long or not enough until I taste it. That is something I can search online for or from more experience using it though so I am not complaining. All in all a great product and it was very easy to set up the warranty from the card in the box as well.

I like this.I was into spending about $12 per week on sparkling water, lime flavored only. Never been into anything else. So I thought why not give this a whirl. It was on sale for about $60.Really easy to use and set up. You probably won’t need Instructions really. Though, word of caution. Make sure the pokey bit on the front that carbonates the water is sticking out at an angle before you plug it in. Otherwise you end up with a mess.Anyway, it’s been about $10 so far in like drops and you only need a tiny wee bit, about one quarter of a tea spoon for a full bottle. That’s amazing to me this is basically paying for itself.In terms of quality I haven’t noticed any difference between this and the polar water I’ve been drinking from the stores.Planning on getting two more gas can thingies soon but still using the first one. To get the right amount of carbonation i have to press four times. Anything more and it would be too much for me.Recommend this if you are anything like me with my money wasting habits.

This fizzy water machine is very simple to use and does not require an electrical outlet. I’ve only had it a week and I don’t know how much the CO2 cartridge replacement charge will be, but I am pretty sure that this will save me a lot of money in the long run considering how much seltzer water I usually buy by the case in cans.

I used to buy 5 or 6 bottles of seltzer water every week. All those empty plastic bottles! Now I rely on the Soda Stream. It’s my second one. The first broke down after about a year and a half. The CO2 cannisters are easy to install and last a reasonable amount of time. I use it very day, sometimes more than once a day. The bottles are good. They’re nice enough to set on the table if you have guests. I gave one to my daughter. She loves it too. I don’t use the flavoring so I can’t tell you how they are. My daughter seems to like it. This model has 3 settings for the amount of carbonation you want. I use the middle setting. The water comes out sparkly and fresh. I believe that the cheaper model does not come with this feature. All in all great.

Overall a very great little Maker – what’s holding me back from giving it a 5 star rating is that sometimes the bottle overflows and requires liquid cleanup. I have now been using a dish towel to protect the bottom and that seems to work. Also buy two bottles from the get go.. one is just not enough – even for one or two persons. Flavor is good. You learn to ‘gauge’ how much carbonation you want with routine practice. Easy – very easy – to install and it does not require any electric connection or such. With a bit more practice the overspill issue may no longer be…?

Excellent product, easy to use. Maybe the carbonation level is not as high as bottled carbonated water, maybe it is. Whatever, it’s pretty close. I’m going green (with reusable components, instead of one use plastic bottles). Had some problems with getting cylinders refilled. Turns out the problems were of my making. Anitha and Margarita were very helpful and courteous in resolving my screw ups. Their customer service was quick and professional.
