I went back and forth on finding the best hotpot online and had purchased a few in the past that didn’t meet my expectations. However, this hotpot was a game changer. The pot itself is super sturdy and easy to clean and comes separate from the electric heating base. We used the little sheep brand hotpot soup base and added an equal 6 cups of water to each side and had no issues with leaking. The electric heating base works amazingly and heats up well enough that the soup boils well. It also automatically turns down the heat after a while but if you prefer to have a constant boil you can just adjust turn the heat up as needed. Such a great addition to your home if you love spending money eating hotpot at restaurants. You get to enjoy restaurant quality meals in the comfort of your own home. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone in search of a good quality hotpot.

I like this hotpot and it works great. I bought a previous one with a side plug that had to be plugged into the pot and then into the outlet and it was horrible. It stopped heating up halfway through cooking. This pot works well and heats up quickly. Whether you lower or raise the heat it works well. My only complaint is that one of the sides doesn’t heat up well. The other side would rapidly boil but the other side would only boil slightly. I am still keeping it despite that because it’s hard to find a good working hotpot.

Bought this hot pot because it was recommended by a favorite chef of mine. It did not disappoint and I made some incredible shabu shabu. I didn’t have any issues with the broth combining, nor any issues with the lid. It did take a second or two to figure out how to screw the lid together in the right order, but that was user error and the fact no instructions are provided.

Me and my boyfriend are OBSESSED with hotpot and it was always expensive going out to eat at a hot pot place. So I got this for his birthday and we use it every week. We go to the little Asian store down the street and get all our foods and broth and have hot pot food for a month!This apparatus has been so awesome. It cooks the food all the way through. The heat is evenly distributed. The sides don’t leak into each other. And it stays hot! I love this!Don’t think, just buy it.
