The Carbonator works as advertised 95% of the time and produces a fine product. From time to time the machine stalls. This is due to the chemical not working correctly. At $0.50 per packet the failures can be annoying and expensive over time. I have used the product for two years and when the issue was pointed out to the company, the company was not responsive to this problem.

Instead of buying bottled Flavored Carbonated Water you won’t be sorry saving so much money!I was overspending on buying my Carbonated Flavored Water until I purchased the Sparkel Machine along with these carbonation packets.It couldn’t be easier.The packets come in “sets” of 2 that need to be used together. I just clip on a slant & pour them both at the same time.No mess, no bad aftertaste as long as you keep your drink ice cold. You can even make up a 6 pack in advance & store it in your Fridge.Being alone I simply make a glass whenever I need another drink.I kept mine ice cold in my travel mug.

Very easy to use so far, no problems(in service 1 month), long term will be cheaper than buying carbonated water at the grocery store, with this system no need to buy CO2 canisters, you buy their packets, 30/60 at a time, 1 packet for every new full bottle of water

It is just a baking powder and citric acid packets. You can save some money by buying baking powder and citric acid in bulk, but why bother? Time is money, so unless you make lots of soda I would stick with buying this pre-packaged packets.Note that packets can be torn open with fingers at the marked spot and no scissors are needed.
