I have only used it a couple of times but it does more than a rolling boil. I made a broth based soup and wanted to keep it warm for awhile. In the US commonly that would be on the left side between Off and low but on this it is on the right side right next to boil. I haven’t mastered being able to get the knob lined up right I guess because it simply reduces the boil a bit.The minimum amount you can do is nearly 3 cups which is to much for me alone. I understand why the maximum is well down on the pot as hard as it boils but it gives you only a limited amount of leeway as to amount. I hope they come out with a smaller one with just those couple of small changes and if they really wanted to please me they could as a small spout as my last hot pot had.It is nice looking and works in its own peculiar way, it just takes up a lot of space in a galley style kitchen whether being used or in a cupboard. It was a shock to me when the lid was dancing on the pot just making soup for one. (Not boiling it)

I’ve used this hot pot over 5x in the past week without any issues. I made macaroni & cheese, spaghetti, chicken soup, chicken & rice, oatmeal, grits, boiled eggs, and crab legs. I don’t turn the dial to a high setting, I cook low and slow especially when I know their is a potential for the food to stick. I also use butter or oil to help reduce sticking while also stirring my food constantly. I cook in this hot pot as I would in any other stainless steel pan. I don’t walk away leaving the food unattended for too long because I don’t want anything to stick to the surface or to burn. Overall: this hot pot is is easy to use, warms up quickly, is space efficient, and is esthetically pleasing.Tips:make sure the cord under the heating plate is secured/tucked in its slot so the heating plate will sit flat on your surface. If not, your hot pot won’t be balanced once you attach it to the heating plate.Disinfect the pot by placing water & your choice of dish cleaning solution in the pot then bring it to a boil.Don’t place the hot pot against or under anything that can be damaged by heat because it creates a lot of steam while in use.For easier clean up, I remove my food from the hot pot while it is still warm/hot and store in another container so I can quickly rinse out the hot pot before anything has a chance to cling to the hot pot. If you decide to leave your cooked food in the hot pot until you have eaten it all, you may have to place warm water in the hot pot and let it sit for a few minutes so the dried up food bits, sauce, etc will soften and release from the stainless steel to prevent you from having to scrub or be abrasive with the hot pot in order to clean it.I hope this was helpful! I’ve attached a pic of what the inside of my hot pot looks like since I’ve been using it. Follow me @inkwhyarenminds ?

I bought this to use at my desk in the office. There were very few of us and due to the pandemic, the break rooms were all closed. We had to bring everything we wanted to eat or drink for the day. This was 1 of several purchases I made. I plugged it in at my desk and made all kinds of things. I boiled eggs, made oatmeal in a baggie, cheesy pasta and hot dogs, and even broccoli cheddar soup. It’s like a mini burner that has to stay wet. 2 things that could be improved: ots either full boil or Intermittant boil, there is no simmering; second, when it does boil, the water splashes out everywhere. Even with the lid on. It can get inside the outer cover as well. Just be sure to watch it when on boil and make sure it gets fully dry before using again.

The function is a bit monotonous, and the liner cannot be taken out, so cleaning is inconvenient

Iโm modifying my first post. Used it yesterday for the first time. Really really liked it. Everything as expected! Just a great product, the one I wanted all the time.

1.8 L is a great size for two people to use. The stainless steel pot is exactly what I am looking for. Don’t like Non-Stick Coating since they tend to peel off. The heating system is quick. It took less than five minutes to boil water.Very happy with this purchase!

Good for a quick boil and cook of fresh pasta. Cats wont go near it bc it hums when boiling. If you have dumb cats like mine you know they will try to jump on the stove and hurt themselves. Excellent work around.

sometimes it shuts down with no reason, but it works properly most of time, good one to keep in office.
