For the first couple of weeks after this Tiger rice cooker arrived, all I did was cook rice in it, and it did a nice job at that, so I was happy with the purchase.But THEN I tried cooking other parts of the meal on the top cooker area – the orange thing – and I was delighted with how well it worked, and how easy it was. So now, instead of just being happy that I bought this, I am overjoyed!Right now I’m cooking up some rice in the bottom pan, with dehydrated shitake mushroom pieces in it, and some chicken boullion powder. And on top I am cooking chicken, onions, garlic, and a pepper fresh from the garden. I’ve added an assortment of spices to that, too… including ginger, sesame oil, and some red pepper flakes. I pressed the ‘Synchro-Cooking’ setting, and like magic, soon I will have a delicious meal, with enough leftovers for a second serving later.I love how simple and user friendly this cooker is! And clean up is also very easy.

Small footprint, makes it easy to store and use. Brand-name was very important when considering purchase. Rice taste, much better in this fuzzy logic product that cooks a perfect pot of rice every time. Much faster cooking time than my previous cooker. So far great quality.

Really easy to use and the cooked rice is really delicious. Also it is convenient to cook rice with sauce and vegetables. The only problem is you could only hand wash it. Overall, love this useful and beautiful rice cooker!

Been using it for more than a week. Simple to use: just plug in and press one button then press off when its done. The water that flows when you open it is fine, theres a grooved area that collects it and i can wipe it dry every time. I wipe the seals and upper part then let it air dry for a few hrs before I close it. Hope this helps.

I have been very happy with this rice maker. This micom cooker produces a much better quality end product than the cheap $30 ‘boil it until its dry’ models but has an affordable under $100 price. The unit is easy to use, fast, and easy to clean. One suggestion for the product planners would be to incorporate some type of cord wrapping system into the next generation of this product. We use the rice cooker 2 – 3 times per week and put it away between uses. In storage the cord flops around without a plan. Other than that, nice product.
