tried to make affles first.there are no trial recipes with this.there is no temperature control,no off/on switch.no timer .you have no idea how much food to put in this.I had pancake mix running out of it all over ttook a long time to clean this ,because of pancake mix in all the seams and latches.do not buy this without getting a cookbook for this t ype of cooker.you will a lso need an egg t imer or some clock ,if y ou can find out how long cooking time for particular food.i do not reccmmend this for newly wedsor anyone with little cooking exoerience.
