It has uneven hot spots so you have to move the food around to get even browning. Love that it is easy to clean and can also go in the dishwasher. A helpful little appliance at a good price to use while we have temporary gas shutoff due to gas line repairs in our building.

After 6 months the part of the power cord that plugs into the skillet got hot and smelled, then was smoking. Too late to return it, Amazon cs rep was useless.

I dropped the top of my old electric skillet which had a knob handle, so it was time to buy a new skillet. I chose this one because it has a looped handle rather than knob. It also has a nice feature that you can flip up on one side of the bottom to help oil/grease to drain. I think that will be helpful. I’ve only used it once so far, but I think it’s going to work out very well.
