First, let me say, I never write reviews. Can’t be bothered. However, I read many reviews before purchasing this unit. For those who complained about how it operates, they clearly did not read their manual. How do I know? I read the manual and it answered the very gripes they complained about. My wife and I bought this to replace an older bread maker. Our primary reason for selecting this machine was the more powerful motor that comes with the unit. Other brands offered a smaller motor and purchasers complained about motor failures. My wife always made our bread with the old machine. However, she turned me loose in the kitchen yesterday and I made my first loaf of homemade bread with GREAT success. The presets are fantastic. I am a “Set it and forget it” type of cook. I made a loaf using one of the recipes in the manual and it came out perfect. Unlike others, I did not experience any loud operation or the unit wanting to walk across the counter. It makes some noise when kneading, but that’s about it. The unit is very easy to set up and clean aftwards. There are a dozen preset baking options with recipes in the manual. You simply plug in the machine, make your selections regarding bread size, darkness and recipe type. Then just turn on the machine and it takes care of the rest. The fruit/nut/spice despenser was a nice bonus for a machine in this price range. Looking foward to experimenting with other recipes in the future

This is my first bread machine, after years of making quick breads and Swedish rye bread from scratch decided it was time to invest in bread machine with rising cost of loaves of bread, and food allergies in the household. Love this machine! It is no louder than my kitchen aid stand mixer (aside from some beeps as it switches cycles). Iβve successfully made 3 loaves of multigrain bread and dough for fresh hamburger buns using recipes from the instruction book (even with a few expired ingredients!). Canβt wait to see how bread turns out with fresh ingredients. Only had the machine for a few days, but expect it will be heavily used as my family goes through 2 loaves of store bought bread in a week.

I’m happy with the bread maker overall. The recipes it comes with are great. I’ve made recipes I’ve found elsewhere online. Also great. My only complaint is the loaf shape. I have to get creative with slicing the bread if we are intending to use it for sandwiches. Otherwise there’s just too much bread for a good sammy.

I have had this bread make for quite some time now. I would have given it 5 stars but there is just two things that made me decide to give four instead. But first an overall review:The first thing is its size. My previous bread maker was 1/3 larger, even though both, this one and my old one, bake up to 2lbs loafs and the banking pans are about same size. Since this machine is smaller, I was able to get some storage space back, which is a huge plus. Also, it is lighter, making it easier to handle, i.e. take it out/put is in a cabinet or shelf. The second thing I like about this bread maker is the pan’s and kneading paddle’s coding, which is different from any of the pans I owned before and makes is so much easier to remove the finished bread as it simply slides out. The paddle itself gets stuck but I do not see this as a huge issue as it stays in place.Another plus about this pan is how it is fastened to the machine with a slight twist, once it is set in the machine. My previous machines, I had to make sure to position the paddle a certain way, which is not needed here. Now to the banking: The display could be a little bigger but, again, it is not a great deal to me. The machine offers many options besides baking bread but since I only bake bread, I will not be able to comment or review the other functions at this time.I always bake 2 lbs loafs as we eat a lot of bread and I bake three, sometimes four loafs a week. The bread I bake is a whole wheat bread, using the 2 lbs, whole wheat, medium crust settings. The vast majority of the loafs have come out eavenly shaped, with a consistent crust. Compared to my previous machine, from a reputable, well-known manufacturer of kitchen appliances, the loafs made in this machine are far more even. Also, the lid has a window, big enough to see the bread as it is made. I like that, particularly to see the bread after its final rise, while it is baking. Finally, the minor issues I have with this machine:My old machine had a larger display that was easier to read when entering the loaf, bake, and other settings. As mentioned before, for me it is not a huge deal but would be nice to be changed if there is going to be an upgraded of this model.Next is the alarms as the machine goes through the baking process. This machine beeps when it is time to add nuts, grains, etc. to the batter. It is also the time when the included box to hold add-ins opens and releases its contents to the batter. The machine beeps again, when the bread baking process is completed. I would love an additional alarm to alert the user to the time when the kneading paddle can be removed to avoid this large opening in the shape of the paddle in the finished product. Again, it is not a huge issue, as the coating of the paddle and pan help the paddle to slide right out of the loaf after the fact, but no paddle makes nicer loafs. Finally, the box for automatic add-ins dispenser. In theory, this is a great feature, as it adds nuts, grains, etc. at time appropriate time within the process. But in my case, it doesn’t work. Either the content of the box goes spills out of the pan and ends up burning in the machine or doesn’t open or dispense at all. I stopped using it after three attempts and add the add-ins when I see fit or when the machine prompts it sounding the alarm (beep). In conclusion, I feel comfortable to recommend this machine in this price range as it does the job right and consistently. As mentioned, I would have given 5 stars but the downsides, which are mostly small inconveniences in my book, added all together, led to a four-star rating.

So far it’s working well. We use it to make all our bread.

The bread maker is easy to use and easy to clean. Its worst feature is that it is very loud. It squeaks and cranks and clunks along for about 30+ minutes. If it weren’t annoying it would be funny. I do enjoy the final product and the bread is consistently good.

My wife enjoys making bread with this machine. She measures the ingredients carefully and lets the bread maker do the rest. The baked bread easily slides out of the pan and the aroma of freshly baked bread is awesome. Better bread maker than the one we had been using.

I am always amazed that once I buy something, a day later it is no longer available. This bread machine works fine, but without my prior experience with bread machines, I believe it would be confusing and frustrating. Measurements are not in US so you need to convert. There is no explanation regarding the 19 different bread recipes/settings saying what the uses are for any particular kind of dough, and some of them difinitely could use more information. I would not buy again, and suggest you look for a different brand.
