I donโt like rice. This makes it taste like a cloud of greatness. Brown rice. Not a fan. How this cooks brown rice makes me want to eat it every day. I am lost for words. Buy it. You can even soak steel cut oats all night and have it cook right before you can wake up to a ready to eat hot meal. Sounds great, huh? This is very good brand. Top of itโs game.

I’ve used this to make steel cut oats and they turn out perfect and fluffy. The warming feature is wonderful and keeps it warm but doesn’t dry anything out or burn it. Super straight forward to use and easy to clean. 10/10 recommend. Also not huge on the counter.

Takes a bit long for the rice to cook but it’s worth it!

I have owned zojirushi products for many years and have always been pleased. This is a good size for a smaller household. The only thing I did NOT like about this particular rice cooker is that there arenโt handles on the sides of the actual interior bowl to prevent burning your fingers when trying to remove it. This feature is in most higher end models.

I just got this yesterday! My wife washed it up while I read the manual. Pretty straight forward, had to change the time, it was an hour off. Used the #1 timer for Steel Cut Oats. Woke up to a wonderful smell and right at 6AM it played a little tune. Now I’ve never eaten steel cut oats before, but I can say we both thought they were very good…..I used Almond milk to cook in. Tonight I’m going to use apple juice just to see what we think. For dinner tonight I’m making mixed rice. Chicken, broccoli and orange bell pepper. By the way, when I did the oats in almond milk there was absolutely no mess in or around the cooker!! Love the timer! Just set the time you want it ready and it takes care of the rest. No brainier, even an old guy like me can use it and so nice to wake up with that wonderful aroma……it’s almost like having my Mom back

Never knew making rice could be so easy. So far, so good. Have made 3/4 cup and 2 cups jasmine rice, and 3 cups of basmati rice. First batch of jasmine was a little gummy. Next batch I used less water (about half of a mark). Perfect. For basmati, I used less water (about half of a mark), perfect.Brown rice is next, then a cake, then Bulgar. Might try a little bread (on cake setting).

My wife has been following this product for a long time, and after waiting for a long time it’s finally Black Friday. The product just arrived today, first day of use, no problems so far, cooks great rice! Amazing!

This is a great rice maker. I had purchased it previously but donated it to another family member when moving. Got settled in and re-ordered it. I use it daily
